Carnegie Science Center offers experiences and programs for curious-minded teens to discover and appreciate the role of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) in their everyday lives. STEM Education programs spark excitement for and help students see themselves in a variety of career pathways.

July 4th: Explosive Science!
Fri., July 4
6–11 p.m.
Secure the perfect view of Pittsburgh’s Fourth of July fireworks in an explosively fun way.
SkyWatch
Sat., July 12
9 p.m.
$10 for Members/$12 for nonmembers.
Stargaze a weekend night away. Reconnect with the night sky through a featured planetarium performance and, weather-permitting, live views of night sky objects in telescopic detail.
Teen Night: “Dream Big: Engineering our World”

3–6 p.m.
Teens 13–18 are invited to participate in activities, enjoy snacks with friends and end the night with an after-hours showing of “Dream Big: Engineering Our World”!
USS Requin:
In-Depth Tour

$20 Members/$25 Nonmembers
Join a member of the USS Requin team for a one-hour, guided tour of the submarine. Spend time in each compartment learning information not covered during self-guided tours.
